The Bargaining Committee's purpose is to uphold the employee’s rights as defined in the National and Local Agreements established during negotiations and any subsequent agreements that may be made.

Local 2911 currently has four elected committeepersons. The Bargaining Committee Chairperson is included in this number. All four also serve on the Executive Board.

The Chairman is also involved in the negotiations for the Main Labor Contract with the other Locals within the Company that fall under those agreements.
