Greetings Retiree’s and Spouses:

Retiree Chapter Dues:

We want to remind you that we do have retiree dues.

The dues are $2.00 per month for retirees and are $1.00 per month for surviving spouses.

The Retiree’s $2.00 per month may be deducted from your retiree check which makes it easier for everyone.

The Surviving Spouse dues MUST be paid by check (it cannot be deducted from your surviving spouse check from International Truck) to: UAW Local 2911 @ $ 12.00 per year.

These dues are voluntary; however, in the future it may become necessary to only send this bulletin to those

paying dues. Another huge advantage is, as a dues paying member you are eligible to participate in the various trips for UAW retiree’s such as the annual retiree’s conference at Black Lake, Michigan each fall.

Below is a blank form to have your dues deducted from your retiree check. Fill out the retired employee Authorization for check-off of dues and mail to:

UAW Local 2911,Diplomat Plaza,  P.O.Box 6056, Fort Wayne, IN 46896

Insurance:

The Secova Dependent Eligibility Audit has been extended until March 1, 2007.

If you have a dependent on your International Truck and Engine Health Insurance program and have not sent in the cover sheet from Secova along with a copy of a tax return you should call Secova @ 1-888-886-2583.

Failure to do this will result in loss of coverage for the dependent until it can be straightened out.

If you do not have any dependents then you did not receive this letter and do not need to fill one out.

We are still experiencing some problems with the new Aetna Medicare card, although it seems to have improved a lot. If you have any problems have the doctor’s office or supplier call Aetna @ 1-800-635-2095 and let the customer service representative know that a provider is having problems with the plan. Aetna will then contact the provider and assist in getting it set up properly.

You must also use the new Aetna card. The new ID on your card starts out   MEB*******.

Mark your calendars: …..Thursday, May 3, 2007

Retiree Chapter 305 & Chapter 2911/Society of Engr. Retiree Luncheon:

The next LUNCHEON /MEETING for Chapters 305 and 2911 will be held May 3, 2007. Your cost for the lunch is $5.00; the remainder (approximately $5.00) is paid by the local union. The luncheon will be held:

Thursday, May 3, 2007                                 American Legion Post 47, on St. Joe Road

We eat lunch at noon                                          $5.00 per person (the rest is paid by the retiree chapter)

We encourage ALL retiree’s and spouses to attend this luncheon, which is followed by a short meeting.

We generally get 80 to 100 retiree’s and spouses attending this luncheon. The American Legion has room to seat double that amount so plan to attend. The food is good and reasonable.

This is a good time to visit with some of your co-worker/retiree’s and also to ask questions about your insurance coverage. A lot of times you will hear a question asked and answered at the meeting that you didn’t think about which may help you in the future. There have been several changes, particularly for Medicare retirees that have taken place this calendar year and if you’re not clear on those changes attend this luncheon meeting and find out. We have tried to keep you up to date with this bulletin, but we can only put so many words in the bulletin.

The reservation form for the luncheon will be in the next bulletin.

4th Area Retiree Hobby Show:

The local competition will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2007 @ the Chapter 57 retiree meeting.

Get you hobbies ready now. All Area UAW Retiree Chapters are welcome to participate.
