Retiree’s and Spouses:
Recently
International retirees on Medicare were sent a survey by Aetna Medicare to fill
out.
This
survey is confusing and poorly worded.
Fill
out section 1 and mark retired and the year you retired in the space asking
when you last worked. Also fill out spouse’s name, etc. and mark retired.
Section 2 and 3 need not be filled out unless you are still working.

Plan (NECP) network.
The
advantages of using a NECP provider include:
- You may go
directly to a NECP provider for services—you don’t need a physicians
referral
- You can
reduce your out-of-pocket costs. NECP providers typically charge 10% to
20% less for hearing aids than regular providers
- You have
no claims to file

go to a NECP provider call 1-888-884-6327 for a listing of providers in your
area
If you go to
any audiologist you wish, you must first get a referral from your physician.
You pay for the hearing aids up front and file a claim with

followed by a short meeting.
